Community First Aid

This course is appropriate for everyone and satisfies the prerequisite for most EMT courses.

Come and learn a systematic approach for responding effectively to any emergency and how to prioritize injuries and illnesses. Covered in the class are head and neck injuries, traumatic injuries such as bleeding, breaks,sprains, burns and serious medical emergencies. The class culminates with an opportunity to utilize your skills by assessing and treating a “patient”. This is a lively course with plenty of active student participation, taught in a supportive and lively atmosphere conducive to learning. 

Includes EMS-approved Pediatric First Aid for Child Care Providers.

• Certification is good for 2 years.
