Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider
Initial (AHA)
This class is for those who are taking CPR for the first time or have an expired CPR card. Covered in class are adult, child, and infant CPR and choking rescue. Use of the AED, barrier devices, and BVM are thoroughly covered using hands-on skill practice.
Taken for first time, or for those with expired CPR card- The class is 4 ½ to 5 hours in length.
- AHA Certification good for 2 years
Renewal (AHA)
This renewal course is for those who have a current CPR card. Covered in every class are adult, child, and infant CPR and choking rescue. Use of the AED, barrier devices, and BVM are thoroughly covered using hands-on skills practice.
Students must bring a current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card to class!
- The class is 3 ½-hours in length.
- AHA Certification is good for 2-years
